Those who gave up on Haromoni@ to avoid the boring streetwalking from the first episodes and the silly animal tricks from MouTube, this might be a good time to try it again. At least that's the feeling I get from this episode and the small preview of the next one. Why the optimism? Every segment on this one features a Morning Musume member. No random people and no animals. That makes me very happy. So much that I thought I'd upload some of the segments. Maybe I'll start reviewing Haromoni@ if it keeps up like this.
...while JunJun shows her own fighting spirit by saying three times that she's not going to lose...
...but Aika doesn't really care as she's full of confidence today.
Have I said I love Aika?
The girls had to memorize 40 names and photos of people in 20 minutes. They take turns saying the name of whoever appears on the screen, and if one of them can't answer, she loses if the other gets it right. And so the competition begins...
And ends. Poor Junjun.
Aika could go all the way and get them all right. Impressive.
Then comes LinLin's segment... Well, not really, since it's a video of LinLin supposedly taken in secret by someone hidden inside a box or whatever, and the segment is presented by Aichan and the cabbage guy. It's a little experiment with emotions and a Chinese lesson at the same time, as it ponders the question: Would a Chinese person in Japan forget her current location and scream something in Chinese when confronted with a surprising and quite disgusting situation? Turns out the answer is "Yes", and then we see the cabbage guy and Aichan repeating what LinLin said sometimes, what I believe is the "Chinese lesson".
Screencaps don't make justice to this segment, so here's the video.
By the way, is it just me or is this episode the official introduction of the Pandatachi to classic H!M-style suffering? This LinLin segment is very much like those old H!M segment where they would be blindfolded and had to guess what a certain object was while screaming like crazy. Like this:
(someone, I think Yuuko, says in 00:13 "It's alive, be careful =P)
And while JunJun didn't have to go through any penalty game when she lost in the memory battle (something I'm sure would happen if this were H!M), she did cry, so I guess that count
There were some other stuff too, but the last interesting segment was this GakiKame one, with NG scenes from previous episodes. No comments on this one, since everyone should watch it. Really, if you haven't, go watch it.I'm always amazed when they do these things
And some Ai-chan screencaps to finish...

Oh, about this last screencap... Although Ai-chan's segment was pretty boring, this was funny. When it ended, she looked quite disappointed, and then she said that: "I thought we had filmed a lot more..." Looks like her segment had some cuts =P maybe there's some good editor in there that noticed it wasn't good as the others? But still, it was better than Sayu's, which if anyone noticed, I didn't talk about. That's one segment that should end.
Long live this new member-only MouTube-style Haromoni@!

The Aika-Jun Jun duel has been the talk of the internet for awhile...I haven't gone round to watch till today. XD
For some reason, I really think Jun Jun has really bad sportsmanship. Sure, she may have hate losing but it’s really awkward for her to cry on national TV. It just made me really uncomfortable. Ex-MM members perhaps once or twice bawled over not getting food and I found that to be cute somehow…Or maybe it was the fact that no one came to comfort her (ie: Lin Lin) after she cried.
I’m not reprimanding Aika. Actually, I kind of like her more after the skit and I don’t see why people are siding so much with Jun Jun. Aika’s cool. =D I hope she’ll turn out to be the next Mikitty considering Reina choose the route of “cute.”
Nonetheless, I still like Jun Jun, but not as much as before. =/
Lin Lin makes me laugh. After seeing her “aiyah” segment, she’s moving up on ahead of Jun Jun in my books. I’m surprised I didn’t notice her before. She’s like another Koharu on crack. A pleasure to watch. XD
Ai’s segments have always been stale and uninteresting. I’m surprised it was still included in Moutube. O_O She has voice, but god, does she bore me stiff.

Actually, when the ex-MM members cried in H!M, most of the time I didn't see it as crying because they didn't get the food. They cried because they felt responsible for the rest of their team not getting the food, and that was what I always found touching about those moments. I particularly remember when Ogawa cried because she was the first one in a race-kind competition, but by the time she could finish her part, the other teams had already finished...
I don't see why it's awkward to cry on national TV, especially considering she's an idol. Idols are marketed as normal people one could be friends with, crying when they want to seems to me as the kind of thing that'd help making her more "human" (substitute this some better word I can't think of T_T)
... what I want to say is that showing some emotions, having some musume drama and plenty of LOL moments is exactly what H!M was all about, and I hope HM@ is going this way.
I don't side with any of them, since I find no reason to... And I love both of them a little more after this.
LinLin always makes me laugh on every MouTube episode since she started doing that crazy Air XX segment =P The day she did Super Mario Bros with JunJun's help was the best <3 I hope you know what I'm talking about... I'd do a post with all of those segments since the beginning if I had all the episodes here with me...

Hrm, you’ve got a point there. Those moments did make H!M a lot more fun. But I guess, I’m much more in favour of them joking around and being silly rather than bawling. I’d just rather see idols have fun in general. When they’re depressed, bawling, it’s emotionally draining on the viewer because it makes the viewer felt sad as well. Even if it’s not awkward to cry on national TV, it still makes me feel uncomfortable. That’s pretty much all I’m saying.
Ah, HarimaKenji, you must show me some LinLin vids. I’m starting to really warm up to her. She’s like Koharu’s other half, all dorkiness and wackiness rolled into one.

Sure, happy is always better, I can agree to that.
This talk gave me an idea for some posts... Yeah, you can expect some LinLin vids, along with a bunch of GakiKame....

Ahaha, I’ll be looking forward to it.=D BTW, thanks for being so cool with me flogging your post with random nonsense. XD

No problem, I love seeing comments in my posts and replying to them. It means someone is reading my blog. Yaaay! \\(^o^)// Anyway, great part of the reason why I write is for the comments...

This is one of my first touches with Haromonio@ and it was quite interesting! (I only watched one episode before but it was from the beginning of this series.) Really, I can't understand why they don't feature old, quality games and other good stuff that they already used in H!M. If they've tried them and everybody thinks they're funny, I don't see the logic behind leaving them out from the show and instead putting some animal tricks that nobody likes. I hope they're continuing this way, only Momusu members (and occasional guests) please!
GakiKame was hilarious! I hope to see more of them! Gakisan is one of my favourites.
PS. I request Linlin segments too! :)

I forgot to put screens of the preview for next week's episode, but anyway, none of the scenes they showed had nobodies. And they've been gradually putting more and more member videos for some weeks already. With member-only videos, MouTube turns into the kind of stuff that would eventually appear as a main segment on Hello! Morning (after H!M started running for 1 hour, or 49min without the commercials, it usually had a main segment that went for about 20 min and changed every week, along with many other segments that went for quite some time, at least some months).
Oh, I'll post some other videos later, the only problem is that I don't have some Haromoni@ episodes here with me, so I can't make it a complete collection. I don't have the first GakiKame for example T_T And it'll take at least a week until I get them back...
