I want these MUGEN characters >_<

As you can see in the video, some lucky wota has MUGEN characters based on H!P idols - this video shows Reina and Takitty, the other one below has Kamei and Mikitty. For those who don't know, MUGEN is a program that allows anyone with the right skills to create backgrounds and characters to be used in a fighting game, and these characters can then be distributed on the web individually or packaged in a full game.

I like the creativity that went into this, there are some funny choices for the special attacks. Look at how Reina finishes off Takitty in the first round, remember anything? (Yup, that's from Okajo) And Takitty's got some Sailor Moon powers here, with the way her clothes change in the beginning of the rounds and when she does some of her special attacks. Then there's Morning Musume's music playing on the background, which is a pretty obvious idea, and there's real voice clips from the girls during the fight, which are kinda obvious too, but look like a lot of trouble. I love Takitty's character the most out of these.

Fujimoto Miki vs. Kamei Eri

Here's Mikitty and Kamei. I think they could use some more work though, and I can't understand the inspiration for most of the attacks here. Kamei turning into a lion? =/ But he remembered to include that weird knee thing Kamei did on a classic Utaban episode, I think, well, she did it somewhere =P, it appears quite a few times throughout the video.

Too bad I've got no idea where to find these characters T_T It'd be a lot of fun. Someone could also make a character based on that puppet from HM@, I'd love to kick him.

I was so surprised when I found these videos... gotta love YouTube's "related videos" =P But I have no idea how to even start searching for these characters. I don't feel like I know enough kanji to start searching in Japanese websites T_T

You could probably make some funny situations with a game like this. Like Kamei winning a fight against Mikitty in the second video. You just know something like that would never happen in real life XD

Hey was that Ronald McDonald in the possible character choices there?!! Haha I'd love to see Ronald vs. Kohachan...and then see Kohachan kick the trans fat out of him! Sorry! :P I love fighting games although I'm not good at Street Fighter but decent at Tekken and the Soul Blade series.....this is so cute being able to create your own custom H!P characters and very ingenious that they've incorporated in special moves which are directly connected to that member! Even Aichan's black outfit with tail appears! ^-^ I never knew that such a program existed where you could do this over the web!

Just imagine the possibilities!! Manoeri vs. Sayu! Nono vs. Aibon! Mikitty vs. Reinachan! Nacchi vs. Homer Simpson!.....um okay I'll stop now. :P

Sure was Ronald, there are some videos with him in the link I posted. No Ronald vs. Kohachan unfortunately, but I think there was a Ronald vs. Doraemon there if you're interested =P Or maybe it wasn't that pairing, but I remember Doraemon was there in some video too ^_^

LOL! Ronald really kicks but there with all of his french fry throwing and hamburger attacks! :O Still I think Kohachan would take him! :P This is like a whole other world of video gaming that I've never seen before....so fun with custom characters that you know and love!....well Ronald and I aren't really friends although I don't dislike him I just don't eat there. :P Thank you for finding these clips!!! Just the thought of Kamei kicking animated video game butt makes my day! :)

Wow, this program-game-thing looks really cool! I'm not much of a gamer anymore, but I think I would play a fighting game featuring Morning Musume XD.
Maybe Kamei had a "Lion Attack" because of the time when Morning Musume were on a game show and they played a word game involving animals and instead of saying "Lion" she said "Lion King"....? Thats the only logical reason I can think of.

Really? I can't remember seeing that, but it does make sense... Well, she must have done something Lion-related somewhere, since so many of the attacks here have roots in some TV appearance =P So that's a good explanation.

I've heard about these Mugen characters but have never actually seen them, it's great actually seeing them in action. I love Aichan's character it looks like it's had the most work put into it. I can't remember the last time I looked in Mugen, must of been when I was still at uni...I never did figure out to use it properly.
It's a real shame that it looks like a complete set of characters were finished as it would have been amazing, much like the game on this site http://www.geocities.jp/ken_peace2/kasimasib.html I occasioanlly check it in the hope that perhaps a download will some day become available but it's been years since the site was updated so I'm guessing the likelyhood of ever seeing it in action is nil...oh well.
